Your tasks

Design of mechanical assemblies for medical and diagnostic devices
Active contribution of your own ideas to new designs and design changes
Design and construction of prototypes
Design of assemblies in close coordination with other areas of our development department and production
Determination and examination of tolerances, fits, and standards for manufacturing and assembly
Creation of design and manufacturing documents
Coordination of the design with manufacturing partners
Technical support for manufacturing as an interface with suppliers until acceptance and handover to production
Preparation of tests and approvals at official testing centers (TÜV)

Your profile

Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
At least 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design
Very good knowledge of a common CAD tool, preferably SolidWorks
Basic knowledge of electronic hardware is desirable
Spatial imagination and analytical thinking skills, coupled with a structured approach to work
Ability to work in a team
Confident command of written and spoken German and English
