PICSO

The Miracor PICSO™ system incorporates an easy to use command-console and a cardiac catheter. Immediately following an acute heart-attack, the PICSO™ system establishes an artificial blood-pressure in the affected heart-muscle-tissue. The regeneration of the damaged tissue is encouraged through the improved blood-circulation.

The PICSO™ principle is based on pressure on the coronary sinus increasing as the vains are closed.
