A mature product in reliability and user-friendliness

Our long-lasting experience in serial production of eye surgery devices and the overriding quality also of the second device generation have contributed to the fact that we could deliver the 350th PentaSys2 to Fritz Ruck Ophthalmologische Systeme GmbH in December 2011.

October 25th, 2011 – Medica Excellence Award in 2011
BYTEC nominates in the category „Excellency in daily working process”

BYTEC Medizintechnik – as developer and manufacturer of the hyperthermia system Celsius TCS of the German company Celsius42+ – and the medical centre KRH Siloah in Hannover, whose oncological department treats „respectable tumour“ as well as evil tumour of the connective tissue and the bones by means of hyperthermia under the direction of PD MD Hartmut Kirchner, have taken part in “Medica Excellence Award” in the category „Excellency in daily working process“ with this innovative / optimised product solution and were nominated.

September 18th, 2011 – Qube
Design and Development for Efficiency

CROMA and Ruck Tmed presented the smart evolution in cataract surgery at the ESCRS in Vienna. CROMA owner and founder Mag. pharm. Gerhard Prinz and Michael Ruck, Managing Director of Ruck Tmed, introduced the new cataract system Qube to the audience. Qube was designed for efficiency and is an innovative and effective solution for anterior surgeons. Its state of the art design and intuitive user interface was perfected for the use in clinical environments. In order to satisfy the market needs of the future Qube focuses on the areas of usability, user friendliness, reliability, serviceability and state of the art ergonomic design for the housing, the disposables and the User Interface.

BYTEC has developed and will manufacture the eye surgery system Qube.


September 14th, 2011 – Miracor Medical Systems GmbH secures EUR 7M/$ 10M in Series B Financing Round for the PICSO® technology
The financing round was supported by Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) and German venture capital investors SHS Gesellschaft für Beiteiligungsmanagement as well as the existing investors Earlybird and Delta Partners. Miracor will in 2011 initiate the post CE-mark “Prepare RAMSES” clinical trial and will also start initial sales activities in selected hospitals in Europe. The company plans to initiate the randomized multi-centre RAMSES trial in 2012 at the same time as it will expand its European sales activities.

BYTEC has developed and manufactures the command-console of the PICSO® and with it a valuable contribution to the success of Miracor.


August 2011 – 500 MR Injectors in the market
High quality and a very good long-lasting cooperation
Our serial production and a very high quality standard in our production area helped to deliver the 500th unit of the EmpowerMR to ACIST Medical Systems, Inc. in August 2011.
